The NDSU Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering program was very adequate in providing me the opportunity to tailor my degree to my individual interests. The ABEN department also is in the forefront of encouraging students to acquire valuable work experience while in college. Valuable work experience and the ability to take any/all classes that interested me gave me a decided advantage over students who were unsure of what they wanted to do once in the workplace.
