Although my current employment with Verizon Wireless has little to do with my degree, the basics and fundamentals of management that I have learned from the ASM program have been of great benefit.  The ASM program also prepared me very well for the professional side of business in the real world also.  I think the main thing this shows is the broad spectrum of opportunity for students in this program.  On top of that, it shows that a person doesn't only have to be planning to go into an agricultural related field after college to be in this program.  I'm working for Verizon Wireless which has has little to do with agriculture, but uses the simple management skills taught in this program.
