I am located at the John Deere Worldwide Combine Product Development Center and work on new product design and developmental testing. My responsibilities include design of future draper header platforms, and field testing of these products throughout North America, South America, Europe, and Australia. I work on many different systems including hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical. Since joining John Deere two years ago, I have also had the opportunity to work in manufacturing and marketing/product support.

At John Deere, I am able to use my agricultural background and the technical knowledge gained at NDSU. The ABEN Department prepared me for a full time career by stressing the importance of co-ops and internships.

Another key feature of the ABEN classes was that they taught the importance of teamwork. I have built great friendships with professors, students, and alumni of the ABEN Department and this has proven to be very helpful when recruiting back on campus.
