Vice President Danny Middlestead:
-Peter Polansky at ADM, 22nd Oct wouldn’t work out, checking on later dates
-Peter might come and speak, maybe a tour of Cargill
-Toured there once before, was a good tour.
-Will try set up

-Forms from large group meeting for officers to fill out.
-Need some service projects, only need 1 per year.
-Special Projects Request: for projects that benefit the whole college, funding requests.
-Maybe for the intersectional meeting
-Meet with officers after meeting

CASAC: Dan Coffman
-Nothing to report

E&A: Nic Hodnefield
-Meeting couple hours ago, not much going on.
-Bison Best Robotics coming up, but during our intersectional meeting.
-October 18&19 at Discover NDSU, bring one of the ¼ scale tractors.

-Going smooth

-Homecoming is coming up, October 5-7, get going on the float.
-SWE will join us with float.
-Registration form is due tomorrow, so get it in.
-Theme is Bison World Tour, ideas for Mike or Peter
-Intersectional Conference, October 12-13
-Need to plan something for participants on Friday Night after Banquet
-Bring Tractors?
-Go-carting, bowling
-Backer would pay for the registration fee for any attendees.
-Presentations Friday morning, meal at noon, tours afternoon
-Saturday design competition, and something else
-Iowa State is still coming up homecoming weekend
-Want us along for some tours
-Valley City John Deere Plant
-Meet with us Sunday for breakfast, possible tour of department.

-Student Advisory Council Meeting Sept. 27, Environmentally Friendly NDSU
-Dance Marathon thru Merit Care Children’s Hospital, want some pledges.
-We can put an ad in the homecoming show booklet, $40/quarter page, $75/half page, ASM would go half with us. 60% of donation goes to Northwood

-Peter Gates unveils the homecoming float design…
-Chicken wire with tissue paper to make a rotating globe
-Happy Campers on the float, and whoever else wanted to be.
-globe rotates 4 rpm’s

Announcements:
-October 4th is next meeting, speakers next Tuesday

Advisor Comments:
-Posters up to indicate where things are going on at.
-Get involved with float development
-Intersectional meeting, attend as much as possible, good turnout for NDSU.
-Make sure there’s no alcohol at official events, afterwards keep it official, unofficial business.
-Don’t try to overdo the Canadians
-Jack Johnson spoke to ¼ scale team last week, wants to explore possibility of designing a 3rd world tractor for market, similar to ¼ scale tractor, we’ll see if it gets off the ground.
