Mitch Kramer, ASM Club President 2006-2007

Thursday, March 6, 2006 - 7 p.m.
Meeting. Nominations for officers will be opened. We will also start working on the combine. If you are around at
5 p.m., I will come in early and we can go get it and begin working on it before the meeting. Also mark your calendars for the Lawnmower/Snow Blower Clinic which is Tuesday, April 11. I will let you know if there are any changes and get you times later. This is our big money maker so the more people that come, the quicker it will go. Thanks.
Jeff Sather, ASM Club President

Tuesday, March 21, 2006 - 7 p.m.
Meeting - those who are going on the trip this weekend especially need to be at this meeting.
Jeff Sather, President

Thursday, March 2, 2006 - 7 p.m.
ASM Club meeting in the south lab. Students to bring $20 deposit for a deposit on the spring trip.

Some important things discussed and voted on during the meeting:
1. The club voted and passed a motion to allocate $600 for the spring trip.
2. The club voted and passed a motion that the trip is open to the first 15 club members who sign up due to the fact that we will be renting a 15-passenger van for the trip. Eleven spots have been filled for the trip.
3. The club voted and passed a motion that the trip is open to the first 15 club members who have paid dues for fall and spring dues and have participated in fundraising activities. No exceptions.

Other notes:
The tours and the trip is going as planned. Storm got his certificate to drive the 15-passenger van, so we will rent one soon. The first four eligible members to respond to this e-mail will be put on the list. If you do not attend the meetings, you will not be kept up-to-date on the happenings of the club. Also, we will use the $600 to cover hotel and transportation costs. The remaining cost of transport and hotel will be split up between the people on the trip. Lift ticket, ski rental, food, and other costs will be covered by the individual. If you have any other questions, call me at 701-520-8133. Deadline to respond is 8 a.m. Monday, March 6. Thanks.
Steve Ebertowski

Wednesday, February 22, 2006 - spring trip update
I called motor pool and found that gas is included in the rates ($.73 for 15-passenger van; $.43 for minivan). The only problem is that the 15-passenger van certification test is offered April 15. Minivans require no certification, so we will probably end up taking 2 minivans instead, which will increase the cost of the trip by a little bit. The other option is to have Mr. Disrud or Mr. Solseng chaperone us as they are certified. They may want to go anyway. I will look into it. Thanks.

Tuesday, February 20, 2006 - 10:45 p.m.
ASM basketball at the BSA.

Thursday, February 16, 2006 - 7 p.m.
Meeting and meal in the ABEN south lab. Draft of spring trip itinerary follows. $20 will reserve your spot on the trip but Jeff and I think that it will probably cost each individual about $50-60 to go. Pending a vote, ASM may cover the rest. If you have any questions, email or call me at 701-520-8133.

He is targeting ASM students for his positions and would like to talk to our club the night before so we will be hearing from him on the 12th and you will be able to sign up for interviews in the leftover time slots that night.  However, you can register for an interview online through the Career Center right now if this company interests you. I'm currently in contact with Dwight and will post the time of the meeting through e-mail. Sarah Hall, ASM Club President

- We will be working on the DC Case tractor.
- The spring trip is officially planned for March 8th.  We will travel to South Dakota. Andrew Marks has more details on the trip and they will be outlined by the sign-up sheet in the main office. No due date has been set yet for the trip sign-up but I expect it to be within the next week.
- Embroidery - it will cost $23 for embroidery on the back of jackets or sweatshirts. You can bring in your own garments, but if you bring in jackets make sure there are no seams on the back (where the embroidery will be done). Adding your name to the jacket/sweatshirt is an extra $4. You can buy garments from them if you want, but you will have to go to CI Apparel and check out designs and styles and prices. Hats are still under discussion. The hat would not have our logo, but the lettering from our logo. It will be $20 and then it would be $5.75 per hat after the $20 is divided up.
