Section 14 – Manure Storage and Application Records

This section will provide forms to keep records of manure production, manure nutrient analyses, and manure application records. As you learned in previous sections, these data are necessary in planning future manure applications.

NDSU Extension publication AE-1189 “Manure Storage and Field Records” contains the formulas and forms needed for this section. It can be accessed at:

http://www.ext.nodak.edu/extpubs/ansci/waste/ae1189w.htm

Copy the worksheets from this publication to give you forms for record keeping.

Worksheet 1.
This worksheet keeps records of manure analyses and volumes produced and spread.

Worksheet 2.
This worksheet keeps records of the crops receiving manure and their yields, what manure was applied and at what rate, and what other fertilizer was applied.
