Ag and Biosystems Engineering Building and Biomass CollageNorth Dakota State University invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor in the Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering. (60% Agricultural Experiment Station; 40% Extension): 12 month, Tenure-track.

You will help establish new industries based on renewable resources, by developing critically-needed research and extension programs. The primary focus is on systems for supplying cellulosic feedstocks to biorefineries. This includes harvest, densification, storage and transportation of cellulosic feedstocks. 

As a researcher, you will conduct interdisciplinary research, direct graduate students, author refereed publications, present research results at national meetings, and attract extramural funding. 

As an Extension specialist, you will provide education and technical assistance, mainly off-campus; develop educational materials and programs for the public; and train and assist Extension agents, producers, and industry professionals using various media.
