Description

A graduate research assistantship is available in the area of animal waste management to pursue an M.S. in Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering at North Dakota State University (NDSU). The graduate research assistant will actively participate in designing and conducting field/lab studies, collecting data, analyzing research results, preparing reports, writing journal articles, and timely preparation of a dissertation.

Qualifications and Application Process

Minimum requirement: Prospective students must hold a bachelor's degree in agricultural/biosystems engineering, or a closely related field with some background in waste management. Some familiarity with animal agriculture and animal waste management is preferred. Candidates with analytical laboratory experience and/or air quality monitoring experience will be considered as an advantage. The successful applicant must have excellent oral and written communication skills, and a valid driver's license. Candidates must also meet the admission requirements of NDSU's Graduate School and the Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering.
